A team of renewable energy industry experts

Andrew co-founded Innova in 2014 and sits on our executive, investment and audit committees. His focus is on strategy, external relations, construction and operations and governance. He has over 30 years energy and infrastructure M&A and project finance experience, the last 15 of which have been in renewable energy. Previously, he held roles at Ethical Power, The Energy Group plc, and as partner in Deloitte Corporate Finance. He is a chartered accountant (FCA) and has degree in Economics, University of London.

Robin co-founded Innova with Andrew in 2014 and sits on our executive, investment and remuneration committees. He provides oversight of all business units with a focus on strategy, development and corporate finance. He has developed over 2GW of ground mounted solar and BESS projects in the UK and sold multiple solar assets to large UK funds such as Blackrock, Foresight, and Next Energy. Prior to Innova, he worked in private equity for CVC and as a Hedge Fund manager with Conversion Capital and then Perlus.

Ryan is group board director with responsibility for Innova’s Development business based in Cheltenham. Ryan spends his time on new business development, joint ventures and power purchase agreements. Over the last 10 years he gained a breadth of experience in renewables development, in a variety of roles at the Innova Group, including as an Investment Manager, where he oversaw significant M&A work within the solar industry. Ryan has a first class LLB (Hons) in Law from De Montford University.

Daniel leads our Corporate Finance team and is responsible for acquisitions, divestments, fund raising, and structuring across the Innova group. Daniel joined Innova in 2021, and led negotiations for the creation of the joint venture structure with Schroders Greencoat. Daniel’s previous roles include working in debt finance at HSBC and PE deal advisory at KPMG and BDO.

Tom is responsible for Innova Ventures’ business, which looks at new, emerging investment opportunities within the energy transition sector, including new technologies, scalable development opportunities and innovative products. Previously, as co-head of Corporate Finance he was involved in capital raising, commercial structuring and transactions for Innova’s large scale subsidy free portfolios and wider business. Tom is a chartered accountant (ACA), having completed his training at Deloitte before joining their Corporate Finance team, where he advised on transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
