Carn Nicholas is a solar array located in Swansea, Wales. With a total of 18,360 solar modules across the site, Carn Nicholas produces approximately 10,226 MWh electricity per annum – enough to power around 3,500 homes per year.
The construction of Carn Nicholas Solar Park was completed early 2023, and the project is now energised and operational.
The site is expected to generate clean electricity sufficient to reduce c.2,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions annually.
Carn Nicholas isĀ the first acquisition of ISG Renewables, a strategic partnership between Schroders Greencoat and Innova to construct and operate solar energy generation and battery storage projects across the UK.
