Innova Energy today concluded its second acquisition from investors managed by Enterprise Investment Partners (EIP). The purchase of the 3.3MWp Beachampton ground mounted solar farm concludes the second acquisition from EIP in a matter of months following the acquisition of a commercial rooftop portfolio in May 2017.
Beachampton Solar Farm was originally developed by PS Renewables, a joint venture betweenPadero Solaer and Bosques Solaer, based in Spain. The site is located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes and will produce enough electricity to power up to 1,000 homes. The site includes photovoltaic modules manufactured by Conergy and high-spec inverters from Schneider Electric. Following commissioning in April 2013, the plant was accredited by Ofgem to receive 1.6x ROCs (Renewables Obligation Certificates) for 20 years.
