Construction and energisation
The construction of Carn Nicholas Solar Park was completed early 2023, and the project is now energised and operational.
The site is expected to generate clean electricity sufficient to reduce c.2,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions annually.
Carn Nicholas is also the first acquisition of ISG Renewables, a strategic partnership between Schroders Greencoat and Innova to construct and operate solar energy generation and battery storage projects across the UK.
